About Me

I am a writer, a crafter, and a veteran teacher. I’m also mom to three busy kids, and as such, taxi driver, situation-handler, secret-keeper, and Finder of Things in the House.

I married my amazing husband before he went to medical school. I am well-acquainted with the smell of formaldehyde and know a random assortment of medical terms. Neither of which is very useful to me.

I’m currently learning how to tap dance, play the piano, and manage the technology that has invaded my life. The first two are going pretty well.

I write about the “small moments” in life that bring me joy and humor, and that remind me to live in gratitude.
